One of Europe’s leading specialist manufacturers based in the North East is currently going through a period of significant growth and developments. Supplying to numerous industries, they operate a world class manufacturing site and are constantly looking for ways to improve their products base and manufacturing techniques.
Due to an internal promotion, there is now a fantastic opportunity for a Shift Team Manager to join this leading organisation in the process industry.
Reporting to the Area Production Manager, you will be responsible for the safe, environmentally compliant and efficient operation of the plant during your shift. Managing the personnel, you will oversee the running of the process plant, ensuring optimum efficiency and achieving best financial cost.
The main areas of responsibility for this key role will include;
- Manage achievement of plant objectives and KPI’s.
- Manage, motivate and develop plant personnel, including recruitment, training, discipline, goal setting, career and personal development.
- Implementing best working practices
- Monitoring environmental parameters
You will ensure product conforms to documented standards, operating procedures are adhered to and that Health & Safety is paramount.
To be considered for this role you will be a dynamic individual and a true leader experienced in the chemical or similar process industry. A strong character is needed with experience in a change environment.
