Buyer

Excellent opportunity for a Buyer to join an established manufacturing and service company based in Bromborough, Wirral.

This role offers great progression paths within this friendly and thriving Service Department.

Within the role of Buyer, typical responsibilities will be: -

• Raising and chasing purchase orders with relevant suppliers
• Issuing internal paperwork to relevant departments
• Ensure parts are available to meet deadlines, escalating any supply issues to planners/coordinators
• Liaising with engineers and internal staff to ensure materials are correct and accounted for
• Build and maintain strong relationships with internal staff, customers, and suppliers

• Obtaining returns forms/numbers and ensure parts are returned to suppliers by Stores so that prices can be refunded on un-used or faulty parts

The successful candidate will: -

• Have experienced working in a fast-paced environment.
• Be a confident individual who is comfortable making decisions
• Have excellent communication skills, and previous experience speaking to customers/suppliers over the phone
• Excellent computer skills including Microsoft Excel, Outlook and Word required
• Highly organised
• Willing to learn
