CNC MACHINIST
NORTH YORKSHIRE
TO £13.50 PER HOUR DOE + SHIFT ALLOWANCE (20%) + BENEFITS (PENSION, HEALTH CARE, PARKING ETC.)
EARLY/LATE SHIFTS
PERM

Fantastic opportunity to join a well-known precision engineering manufacturer has arisen in the North Yorkshire area, looking for experienced CNC Machinists to join their team.

The Role:

The role of the CNC Machinist will involve:

  • Setting and operating different CNC machines - multi-axis (3 & 5), twin spindle milling, turning or lates.
  • Using Heidenhein or Fanuc controls to produce metal components.
  • Ability to understand, interpret and work to engineering drawings and to work to tight tolerances.
  • Working with manufacturing engineers providing feedback for NPI and process improvements.
  • Ensure that full documentation is kept up to date

The Person:

The CNC Machinist should have the following:

  • Previous experience in manufacturing with CNC equipment and controls.
  • Experience using Fanuc or Heidenhein (or similar) machinery.
  • Experience machining Stainless Steel or similar
  • Able to use measuring equipment and to set up jobs.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and to deadlines.
