A fantastic opportunity as arisen with an international aerospace manufacturer who are seeking multiple experienced CNC Machinists for an immediate start due to increased demand.

Reporting to the Senior Production Supervisor you will be working as part of a wider team on a variety of tasks that are to be completed with precision and in a timely manner.

The Job

• Loading and unloading machining fixtures
• Setting a range of 5 axis and 3 axis machines
• Using measuring equipment such as micrometres, vernier's, plug gauges, screw gauges, ring gauges
• Carrying out general maintenance and cleaning of machines and tools
• Basic CNC programming
• Translate drawings and make use of geometric tolerances

The person

• High levels of attention to detail
• Ability to accurately follow processes and procedures
• Strong Communication skills
• Desire to progress and improve skill set
• Hard working with the ability to complete tasks under pressure & to strict deadlines

Criteria

• Previous experience in CNC Machining (fanuc experience beneficial)
• Understand CNC programming
• Good understanding of drawings and geometric tolerances
• Good understanding of component drawings
• Highly detail oriented
• Flexibility
• Time served apprenticeship preferred
