My client, a global FMCG manufacturer, is looking to replace the site CI Engineer due to an internal promotion.

The CI / Process Improvement Engineer to join their highly skilled team in Liverpool.

This is a broad role where your key responsibilities will include analysing site performance, making recommendations for continuous improvements, developing the operations teams understanding of process control and influencing stakeholders at various levels.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Support the Site's QMS for your designated area of responsibility together with the Operations Manager, team leaders and shift operators, driving improvements to cost, quality and efficiencies site wide.
  • Working together with the site maintenance teams to improve asset reliability using TPM to orchestrate data driven improvements.
  • Deliver training and coaching to relevant teams ensuring to increase their understanding of process control.
  • To identify, prioritise and eliminate process/equipment losses and identify areas for improvement.
  • Performing root cause analysis and implementing corrective actions where necessary.
  • To build the process capability & control site wide.

Education & Experience:

  • Experience within the Manufacturing sector in a similar role
  • Experience within continuous Improvement processes including data driven improvements
  • Strong interpersonal skills and communication ability
  • Demonstrable previous experience of embedding new processes
  • Expertise in interpreting plant data, observations, and the capability to explain and recommend corrective actions
  • Experience of CI tools and techniques including, root cause analysis, cause and effect diagrams, process flow charts, pareto analysis.
  • Proven ability to establish, influence and maintain good working relationships at all levels.

Package:

  • Salary of £40,000 - £50,000

  • Hours of work: Monday to Friday 8am - 4pm (some flexibility to start and finish times)
