An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Credit Controller to come and join a busy finance team at their site in Irlam.

Reporting directly to the Credit Control Manager, the postholder will mainly focus on effective collection and obtaining earliest possible settlement accounts to improve cash flow and minimize bad debt exposure.

Key Responsibilities:

• Effective collection and obtain settlement accounts to improve cash flow and minimize bad debt exposure
• Account reconciliations
• Identify and manage the need for credit notes
• Ensure collection targets are met
• Liaise with internal departments to resolve queries
• Action and monitor all debtors
• Daily/Weekly analysis of new accounts
• Send statements and copy invoices
• Ensure accounts on stop/hold are monitored and dealt with

Key Requirements:

• Experience within a corporate/retail environment
• Excellent excel knowledge
• Experience in low volume high value credit control
• Great interpersonal skills
• Customer focused
• A self-starter
• Excellent communication skills
• Experience in assessing and reviewing business risks
• Ability to wok to tight deadlines
