A fantastic opportunity for an experienced Electrical & Instrumentation Technician to join the Engineering team at chemical manufacturing company in Cheshire.
You will join an established team at the Warrington site and will be responsible for the maintenance of all electrical/instrumentation systems across a vast manufacturing site.
Ensure all E&I equipment is effectively maintained to ensure maximum plant reliability
Inspection, maintenance and calibration of E&I equipment
Installation and commissioning activities
Planned and pro-active maintenance
E&I upgrade and improvement projects
Loop checking and interpretation of technical drawings
Participate in RCA and Reliability projects
Liaise with equipment suppliers
Recognised apprenticeship in Electrical / Control / Instrumentation Engineering (min HNC)
Experienced gained in a chemical manufacturing or similar process environment
Min of 5 years' experience in an E&I Maintenance role
Knowledge of process plants and control loops
Experience of PLC/DCS/SCADA systems
Excellent verbal, written and problem-solving skills
Able to prepare technical reports and plan work
Able to work as part of an on call rota
