Financial Controller

This is an excellent opportunity to join a thriving manufacturing business at their brand new, state of the art facility in Bromborough.

Reporting to the Plant Manager, typical responsibilities as Financial Controller will be to: -

• Ensure the reliability, accuracy and completeness of the site's financial information.
• Develop and maintain an effective system of internal control for safeguarding company's assets.
• Manage the local audit process.
• Ensure quality and reliability of plans, budgets and forecasts.
• Ensure the quality of finance analysis and the tracking of action plans.
• Develop customer profitability analysis to support the decision-making process.
• Drive the costing activities (prepare the price quotations, cost analysis, etc).
• Ensure that risks and opportunities are presented in an actionable manner to other departments.

The successful Financial Controller will: -

• Have experience of accounting/finance gained in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience of manual and automated accounting systems
• Ideally have start-up experience.
• Have the ability work with a remote team.
• Hold an accounting qualification (ACCA/CIMA)
