We are looking for candidates that want to master the art of new business generation, client development, market development, those that get a real "buzz" out of winning new contracts. You will focus on the buoyant UK industry of world-class manufacturing, including defence technologies, pharmaceutical, FMCG, electronics, chemical, automotive and more. You will shadow senior members of the team to to understand the key skills that we provide to our customers, such as Engineering, Supply Chain, Procurement, Operations, Quality, Technical, Design, IT, Finance, HR and much more.

You journey will take you across a range of activities from understanding the mechanics of our business and sector, lead generation, digital marketing, social media and networking, direct sales, client presentations, contract negotiations, employer branding, client development and more. The goal is to quickly get you up to speed and established, able to operate independently with a rich client portfolio for you to nurture.

  • Use all of the modern IT packages and company laptop to remotely access company systems and communicate with your colleagues via MS Teams.
  • Use your Plantronics telephony and remote VOIP calling software to effortlessly make calls from anywhere.
  • Partner closely with our markets most established, longest serving, and well-respected Service Delivery focused Recruitment Consultants deliver your client's needs - longest serving is 20 years.
  • Work with Marketing to produce attractive, content rich vacancy information packs to attract the very best talent to your vacancies.
  • Work with Marketing to produce the very best sales information to increase sales effectiveness.
  • Spend your time speaking to new and existing customers, building, and strengthening relationships, exploring their requirements and securing new projects.
  • Coordinate activities between the Customer and our Service Delivery team, facilitating the required meetings, video calls, documentation, and guide conversations to ensure maximum effectiveness.
  • Attend daily companywide video calls to review service delivery and sales pipeline.
  • Manage your clients, develop relationships, upselling and cross selling accordingly.
  • Agree terms of business & assignment delivery plans.
  • Produce a detailed specification covering all aspects of your client and their requirements.
  • Build and maintain a level of knowledge in Manufacturing, Engineering and Logistics sectors.
  • Researching potential clients to establish the best new business approach.

The Person:

  • Graduate qualified in a relevant subject such as; business, sales and marketing, engineering, digital marketing & social media, supply chain, HR
  • Can demonstrate an ability to learn and master new skills
  • Has a flair for business and wants to reach an advanced level of competence in this arena.
  • Smart, well presented, professional appearance with excellent communication skills.
  • Confident and ambitious, keen to grow your own skill base.
  • Hardworking, able to manage your own activities with minimal supervision.
  • Performance driven with a desire to be the best.
