Graduate Manufacturing Engineer

Competitive Salary + Package

40 hour week - (M-F)


A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Graduate Engineer to join the Manufacturing Engineering team of a manufacturing company in Fife.

Our client is a global business who manufacturer of high-performance products which are used in industrial, military, rail, automotive, and aerospace applications to name a few.

The Graduate Engineer will join an established team and will be offered an excellent training program to become a Manufacturing Engineer within 12-18 months.

Key responsibilities:

  • Assist with all aspects of manufacturing process; NPI, NPD, process optimisation, standards, project work
  • Drive improvements to improve productivity and efficiencies
  • Assist with Six Sigma projects
  • Work closely with Product Development teams to run trials and tests
  • Produce trend analysis data
  • Manage changes to engineering data
  • Assist with delivery of work instruction training

Key requirements:

  • Degree qualified in a relevant engineering discipline; Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical, Electro-Mechanical, Process, Materials
  • Experience gained in a manufacturing / industrial environment - advantageous
  • Able to prioritise work and operate in a fast paced environment
  • Practical, analytical and logical approach
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Excellent IT skills, MS Office
  • Enthusiastic and drive to continue learning and development
  • Good problem solver
  • Team player
