Position Overview:

We're looking for an experienced HSE Manager to join our team. In this role, you'll be at the forefront of maintaining and enhancing our health, safety, and environmental practices, all while providing essential support to our project team and overseeing contractor management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement practical HSE policies and procedures to ensure a safe and environmentally responsible workplace.
  • Identify and mitigate workplace hazards through hands-on risk assessments.
  • Train employees in HSE best practices and promote a safety-conscious culture.
  • Monitor and report on HSE performance, identifying areas for improvement.
  • Collaborate with regulatory agencies and internal stakeholders to ensure compliance with industry regulations.
  • Investigate incidents and accidents, implementing real-world corrective actions.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and best practices, applying them in a down-to-earth manner.
  • Contractor Management: Oversee and manage contractor HSE compliance, ensuring that external partners follow our safety standards and procedures, guaranteeing the safety of all workers on-site.
  • Project Team Support: Provide tangible HSE guidance and support to the project team, ensuring that safety and environmental considerations are realistically integrated into project planning and execution.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Hold a NEBOSH qualification or its practical equivalent.
  • Proven hands-on experience in an HSE responsible role within the manufacturing sector.
  • Sound knowledge of HSE regulations and practical best practices.
  • Effective communication and leadership skills.
  • Problem-solving abilities with an eye for practical details.
