We have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced HR professional to join the team at a manufacturing company in Merseyside. (Headcount circa 60 employees)

Due to a recent acquisition, this is a new role within the business. The Senior Advisor / Business Partner will be tasked with providing HR support to employees and management as well as integrating group strategic initiatives to the site.

This is a stand-alone, generalist with support from the wider group HR team.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide expert advice to the business on all HR matters
  • Proactively consult, coach and guide management on all employee issues; performance management, disciplinaries, grievances, absence management ..
  • Assist in building leadership skills of middle management via effective coaching, training and development
  • Communicate all HR policies and employment legislation to the business
  • Support all recruitment processes, deliver on-boarding programs and implement retention plans
  • Build trusted relationships with all employees
  • Partner with group HR team and management on HR strategy and organisational development plans
  • Analyse data and produce reports

Requirements:

  • HR professional with experience gained in a manufacturing/industrial environment
  • Degree or equivalent in a relevant HR/Business qualification
  • CIPD qualification
  • Thorough understanding of employment law and HR practices
  • Highly organised and detail orientated
  • Able to establish partnerships and maintain productive working relationships at all levels in an organisation
  • Strong IT skills; MS Excel, PowerPoint
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
