We have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced HR professional to take on a challenging but exciting role at a manufacturing company in Wiltshire. (Headcount circa 100) Our client is a well-established manufacturing company who have recently been acquired by a global leader in their sector.

The HR Manager will be tasked with driving change, improving HR systems and processes and pro-actively supporting the company through integration with the wider business.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide expert advice to the business on all HR matters in line with ACAS guidelines and UK legislation
  • Proactively drive a local and international HR agenda and support all centrally led HR initiatives
  • Deliver on HR strategic priorities for the UK including talent management, organisational development, leadership development, training and succession planning
  • Proactively consult, coach and guide management on all employee issues; performance management, disciplinaries, grievances, absence management ..
  • Manage complex employee relations casework
  • Recruitment and onboarding
  • Administration of payroll and management of compensation and benefits
  • Promote employee engagement activities
  • Support the business through structural, cultural and technological change
  • Champion company values to nurture a healthy work environment

Qualifications and Skills

  • Educated to degree level in HR Management or a Business related discipline
  • CIPD level 7 or working towards
  • Demonstrable experience of HR management in a manufacturing environment
  • Knowledge of local and regional labour markets
  • Thorough understanding of UK employment law and HR practices
  • Highly organised and detail orientated
  • Able to establish partnerships and maintain productive working relationships at all levels in an organisation
  • Experienced of HR & Payroll software
  • Experienced in leading and managing HR projects
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
