Do you have previous experience in a SHE coordination and are looking for your next big challenge?

We are currently recruiting within our clients Manchester manufacturing function for a SHE Manager to join the team. The Manager will implement and maintain agreed H&S and Environmental Management Systems and identify / coordinate / implement improvement activity in conjunction with the Site Leadership Team to deliver SHE performance improvement.

This is a progressive opportunity that would suit someone who looks to progress long term with an organisation with full support with training and qualification.

The role responsibility includes.

• Monitoring all areas of the business to ensure they adhere to company Health and Safety procedures, carrying out a programme of site audits and safety inspections.
• Lead all quality activities within the business including all audits.
• Delivering Health and Safety workshops to employees.
• Develop KPI structures and all data recording.
• Head up all accident and incident management, investigating all accidents, incidents and near misses including liaising with clients and/or external authorities as necessary.
• Chairing regular Health and Safety meetings with safety representatives and senior management
• Promoting a culture of continuous improvement in all matters related to Health, Safety, and the Environment.
• Supporting Operations to develop best practices.
• Managing on site contractor, inductions, toolbox talks, risk assessments and mitigation.

To be considered, you must have the following experience and qualifications.

• Experience in a HSE responsible role on a manufacturing site
• NEBOSH qualified (highly advantageous not essential
