IT Helpdesk Support

This thriving manufacturing business who produce precision engineered components, are looking to attract an IT professional into the team who will provide first line support for 100 on site users.

The purpose of the role is to provide hardware and software support services which will include the installation, repair, upgrade and troubleshooting.

Reporting to the IT Manager, as IT Helpdesk Support you will: -

• Provide support to end users for computer, application, systems, device, access and telephone issues.
• Identify, research and resolve technical problems.
• Respond to phone, email and on-line requests for assistance.
• Prioritise, document and monitor requests in applicable systems and tools.
• Escalate problems as appropriate.
• Keep clients informed of updates and progress.
• Test and install computer systems and software.

The successful IT Helpdesk Support will: -

• Have gained working experience in an IT support role, within any industry.
• Be a competent user of Microsoft Office and internet applications.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Enjoy working in a varied role.
