Maintenance Electrician - Days

Doncaster

Mon-Fri (7am-3pm)

up to £45,000 including overtime and callouts.

An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced maintenance engineer to come and join a highly successful manufacturing business near Doncaster. My client is a global manufacturing leader in a recession proof market, they provide excellent training, progression and job security as they are growing rapidly. Key Responsibilities of Maintenance Electrician:

  • Perform preventative maintenance
  • Attending breakdowns
  • General instrumentation activities
  • Small electrical installations
  • Design and build of control panels and systems
  • Basic PLC programming, training can be given
  • Understand technical drawings, including electrical schematics
  • General factory electrical maintenance
  • Changeovers
  • Maintain pumps, compressors, water pumps, conveyors, gearboxes

Key Requirements of Maintenance Electrician:

  • NVQ 3, ONC
  • Previous experience as an electrical maintenance engineer
  • Basic programming knowledge
  • Heavy machinery experience preferred
  • Experience of single and three phase electrical systems, AC/DC and inverter drives
