Rotating 3- Shift

​A fantastic opportunity for an experienced Maintenance Engineer from a manufacturing background to join the Engineering Team at global business in Greater Manchester.

You will join a company who can offer an excellent training program and realistic opportunities for development and progression.

Key Tasks;

• Reactive, preventative and pro-active maintenance on plant and equipment to ensure production downtime is minimal

• Fault diagnosis, troubleshooting and repair of high-volume, automated equipment

• Planned maintenance tasks/inspections

• Use CMMS to plan work, book spares and record completed work

• Support the wider engineering team with continuous improvement projects

• Support installation of new equipment

• Ensure communication is clear and consistent to all teams across shifts

Requirements;

• Apprentice trained Mechanical / Electrical / Multi-Skilled Engineer

• Experience of mechanical / electrical maintenance in a high volume, manufacturing environment

• Knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, motors, drives

• Strong fault finding / diagnostic skills

• Able to read mechanical and electrical drawings

• Good IT skills

• Improvement mind-set

• Action orientated

• Confident and calm under pressure
