We have a fantastic opportunity for a Maintenance Supervisor/Team Leader to join the engineering team at a successful, print and packaging manufacturing company.

Reporting into the Operations Manager you will be lead a small team of Maintenance Engineers, ensuring all machines are effectively maintained and optimised to support production.

Key Tasks:

• Day to day supervision of a small team of Maintenance Technicians ensuring the delivery of plant objectives

• Provide hands on electrical and mechanical support on a range of print and packaging equipment

• Implement and develop a PM system and maintain accurate records

• Work closely with Production to ensure plant meets all KPI's

• Train and mentor Maintenance Technicians

• Develop engineering systems to help move the department forward

• Control costs by seeking value from suppliers

• Ensure all H&S procedures are adhered to

Key requirements:

• Time served Electrical/Mechanical/Multi-Skilled Engineer (HNC/HND)

• Experience of leading/supervising a maintenance team in a manufacturing environment

• Excellent problem-solving skills and willing to provide hands on maintenance support

• Strong technical knowledge

• Strong motivator - creates morale and spirit within team

• Improvement mind-set

• Excellent communication skills
