Management Accountant

Due to continued growth for the specialist manufacturing business who supply to their well-established customers, there is now an exciting opportunity for a Management Account with a partnering approach to join the team.

Within the role of Management Accountant, typical responsibilities will be to: -

• Work with operational teams to interpret financial data for non-finance managers.
• Produce and provide manufacturing financial reports and analysis.
• Own and manage manufacturing budgets.
• Liaise with department managers to understand and control expenditure.
• Support the growth of the business, working to ensure effective finance decisions are made for capex investments, projects and improvement programmes.
• Analyse scrap and monitor scrap reduction programmes.
• Oversee the stock taking process.
• Fixed asset maintenance and control.

Reporting to the Financial Controller, the successful candidate will: -

• Have gained their accountancy experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Be CIMA or ACCA qualified or be at final stages of study.
• Be self-motivated and a team player.
• Enjoy engaging with production and operations teams.
