Our client, an international aerospace manufacturer are seeking multiple Manufacturing Technicians for an immediate start in Lincoln. Reporting to the Production Manager you will be working as part of a wider team on a variety of tasks that are to be completed with precision and in a timely manner.

Training & support can be provided for those who meet the right criteria so this is a great opportunity to learn & grow in a skilled role within a very secure industry.

The Job

• Assemble Electronic & Radio Frequency products for niche Microwave Radar applications
• Ensuring work space is clean & safe under Health & Safety rules
• Support and actively implement all changes to the visual management/ housekeeping programme
• Using a variety of hand tools
• Wire bonding
• Soldering
• Epoxy assembly
• Ensuring an accurate & up to date record is kept of all production data
• Ensuring weekly, Monthly & quarterly targets are met withing an agreed timescale

• Ability to accurately follow processes and procedures
• Strong Communication skills
• Desire to progress and improve skill set
• Hard working with the ability to complete tasks under pressure & to strict deadlines ➢ Ability to use initiative
• Flexible availability to meet customer demand

Desired criteria

• Relevant qualifications in electrical engineering
• Experience using SAP withing a production environment
• Experience with Microsoft office programmes
• Knowledge of Lean tools
