We are currently recruiting at our client's manufacturing facility, for a Multiskilled Maintenance Engineer to be based at their site in Knutsford.

Reporting to the Site Maintenance Manager, this permanent, days only, opportunity will take responsibility for delivering preventative maintenance activities and diagnosing / rectifying breakdowns on automated and manual production machinery across this unique process plant, including associated equipment across a fast-paced innovative manufacturing facility.

Maintenance Engineer responsibilities:

• Carry out planned preventative maintenance tasks on mechanical and electrical machinery.
• Ensure all breakdown repairs are carried out constructively, accurately and in a timely manner to minimise machinery downtime.
• Diagnose and remedy equipment plant faults on machinery associated with the plant process.
• Troubleshoots known and unknown issues relating to plant breakdown.
• Practise continuous improvement, innovation, and pro-activeness for improved ways of working, offering potential solutions to problems encountered wherever possible.
• Implementing PPM and ensuring all reactive requirements are accommodated.

Maintenance Engineer skills and Experience:

• Previous multiskilled maintenance experience within manufacturing is essential (Mechanical/Electrical) Mechanical bias (ideal split of 70/30)
• Must have own transport due to the location of site

The package:

• The role is a day only position with set hours from 7.30am - 3pm daily
• 27 days holiday (plus 8 bank holidays)
• Shut down for Christmas
• Over time paid at 1.5
