My client is a leading manufacturing business dedicated to delivering high-quality products to their customers. As they continue to grow and expand, they are seeking a talented NPI Project Engineer to join their team and contribute to the companies success.

They are seeking an experienced NPI (New Product Introduction) Project Engineer to play a crucial role in the development and launch of new products within the business. This is a new role within the organization, reflecting their commitment to continuous improvement and innovation. The successful candidate will need a proven track record of managing NPI projects from concept to production, ensuring quality, efficiency, and timeliness throughout the process.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support NPI projects from initiation to completion, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams including R&D, production, quality, and supply chain.
  • Develop and maintain project schedules, ensuring milestones are met and risks are mitigated effectively.
  • Conduct feasibility studies and risk assessments for new product introductions.
  • Coordinate prototype builds and testing activities, analysing results to drive design improvements.
  • Implement and maintain robust documentation and change control processes.
  • Lead APQP activities and initiatives at Tecman
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize NPI processes and enhance overall efficiency and effectiveness.


  • Degree, HND (or equivalent) in mechanical engineering or related field
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in NPI project management within a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong understanding of product development processes, including design, prototyping, testing, and production ramp-up.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams and levels of the organization.
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on quality and continuous improvement.
  • Experience with project management tools and software.
