Job Description

Payroll & HR Officer - Manufacturing

To £30K + Package


A fantastic opportunity for an experienced Payroll professional to join the HR team at successful manufacturing company in Winsford.

The Payroll & HR Officer will be the main point of contact for all Payroll queries on a site with circa 300 employees

Key tasks:

  • Coordinate all aspects of monthly payroll activities in line with company KPIs
  • Resolve any payroll related queries
  • Collation and input of all payroll information on to system
  • Maintain accurate data in Human Resources Information System (HRIS)
  • Ownership of the administration of the employee life cycle from recruitment/onboarding to exit
  • Manage Time and Attendance system (T&A)
  • Support HR team through reporting and data analysis
  • Liaise with Managers and provide support on T&A issues
  • Support HR team with wider administrative duties


  • Experience gained in a similar role, ideally from manufacturing, logistics, retail or similar
  • Good knowledge of Payroll, T&A and HRIS systems
  • Advanced IT Skills
  • High attention to detail
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Able to effectively manage own workload in a busy, manufacturing environment
