Job Description

Due to continued growth for this established manufacture of household products, who sell into major retailers, there is now a new opportunity for a passionate planner to further develop the production planning function.

The Operations Director is looking to attract into his team a Production Planner who would have responsibility for: -

  • Preparing the manufacturing plan to satisfy the stock requirements and the delivery needs of key customers.
  • Supporting raw material inventory checks and place purchase orders accordingly.
  • Liaising with sales order processing to agree customer delivery dates.
  • Producing the weekly production plan and issuing to relevant parties.
  • Completing daily plan statistics.
  • Utilising MRP.
  • Work with manufacturing to identify improvement opportunities.

The successful candidate will: -

  • Have planning experience gained in a fast-paced environment.
  • Be experienced using MRP.
  • Have good IT skills.
  • Be customer focused.
