Programme Manager - EV Network

Our client, a rapidly expanding EV network charging company is recruiting an additional Programme Manager to join the team due to ongoing growth.

You will be joining a modern, entrepreneurial, forward thinking organisation who have one mission; to offer EV drivers more chargers in more places which are easily accessible and cost-effective.

The Programme Manager will be responsible for the execution of a portfolio of projects to deliver public and private funded chargers to expand and upgrade the existing network.

General Responsibilities:

  • Project planning and delivery - lead multiple projects through project lifecycle from feasibility through to handover

  • Ensure completion within the defined scope, quality, time and budget

  • Project tracking and reporting; manage risk, change, resource management

  • Manage sub-contractors and suppliers ensuring all work is complete in line with KPI's

  • Visit sites, complete surveys and provide clear direction of the project

  • Maximise customer satisfaction and identify areas for improvement

  • Meet with stakeholders and ensure effective communication and transparency

  • Contract management and timely reporting

  • Liaise with Transport for Greater Manchester to grow public network

Key Requirements:

  • HND/Degree qualified in a relevant Engineering / Construction discipline

  • Demonstrable experience of Program Management / Contract Management

  • Experience of managing Commercial/M&E/Civil installation projects with power elements

  • Sub-contractor and supplier management experience

  • Commercial acumen; able to contribute to contractual issues

  • Strong leadership and organisation skills

  • Calm under pressure and able to make decisions quickly

  • Attention to detail and time management skills

  • Keen focus on H&S

  • Passionate about sustainability and/or EV industry

  • Full UK driving licence
