A world-renowned manufacturer of Aerospace parts, my client is a trend setter at the forefront of innovation for their sector. Recognised as World class manufacturing, my client is looking to appoint a Quality Project Lead for their site based near the Barnoldswick area.

My client is looking to engage candidates who are keen to be part of a fast-moving Quality team, and lead from the front as a Senior Engineer. You will take on project-based work to ensure client satisfaction and compliance across site.

You will act as stage gate keeper, influencer, championing the companies Quality ethos and ensuring the highest possible quality standards throughout all phases of the project, right up to fruition.

• Ensuring business and project compliance of AS13100.
• Lead Quality activities from intro to completion with specific customers and drive right first-time approach.
• Highlighting and mitigating risks in all processes that can lead directly to process/project delays and adding significant cost impact to the business, the final customer and to the image of the product/company.
• Work in synergy with project and technical managers to actively manage the risk and compliance.
• Ensure core teams evaluate all activity needed to develop internal process, and ensure the project complies/delivers against customer objectives, keeping customer specification and compliance at the forefront.
• Work in synergy with cross functional managers to ensure the clear communication of real time project status, and ensure data driven decision making.
• To ensure robust processes and system are developed by the appropriate functions to manufacture world class products.
• Working closely with Plant Quality to ensure all internal quality activities are completed on time.
• Quality Interface between cross-functional departments within the business.
• Prepare monthly summary of KPIs for the QPL process.
• Continuously support improvements of site processes ensuring right first-time approach, ensuring customer satisfaction.
• Collaborate cross functionally to share best practise and reduce risks.
• Dealing with the customers face to face, dealing with complaints and challenges head on.

The candidate:

• Solid experience of working to aerospace customer specification, specifically in line with AS13100.
• Proven experience of ensuring and improving site wide compliance in line with AS13100.
• A credible and confident influencer with the ability to think laterally and logically.
• Working knowledge of core tools quality tools and control plan.
• Confidence when customer facing (previous customer facing experience is preferred
