Senior Buyer

Due to continued growth for the specialist manufacturing business who supply to their well-established customers, there is now an exciting opportunity for an individual who has a passion for purchasing to join the team.

Within the role of Senior Buyer, typical responsibilities will be to: -

• Order materials to meet production demands.
• Build strong relationships with suppliers.
• Ensure strong supplier communications.
• Monitor KPI's, highlighting any risk to supply.
• Support planning functions to ensure correct levels of safety stocks are accurate and maintained.
• Maintain supplier data and ensure information is accurate and up to date.

The successful candidate will: -

• Have experienced gained in a fast-paced manufacturing.
• Be experienced purchasing raw materials.
• Have strong MS Office skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Have the ability to multi-task and prioritise.
• Ideally have CIPS or be willing to study

On offer: -

• Salary to £40,000
• Monday to Friday office-based role
