Shift Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineers

Circa £43,000 + Excellent package including matched pension (9%), Occupational Health, Death in Service x4

4 on 6 off (Days/Nights )

A new opportunity has arisen for an experienced Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join the Engineering Team at a global packaging company in South Yorkshire.

You will join an established maintenance team and will provide hands on maintenance support across a fast moving, fully automated manufacturing site.

Key Tasks;

  • Mechanical and electrical maintenance on a wide range of process and packaging equipment
  • Reactive, planned and pro-active maintenance
  • Mechanical and electrical fault finding and diagnostics
  • Route Cause Analysis (RCA) and improvement projects to reduce downtime
  • Planned reliability maintenance tasks/inspections
  • Support technicians with machine set ups and job changes
  • Support TPM activities
  • Ensure communication is clear and consistent to all teams across shifts

Requirements;

  • Apprentice trained Mechanical / Electrical / Multi-Skilled Engineer
  • Able to attend to both Mechanical & Electrical maintenance tasks
  • Experience of maintaining equipment in a high volume, continuous process manufacturing environment
  • PLC experience -advantageous
  • Strong fault finding / diagnostic skills
  • Good IT skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Improvement mind-set
