We currently have a superb opportunity for an experienced Engineering Manager to join the team at a high-volume, fast paced manufacturing business.

Key Responsibilities:

• Strategic development of the engineering function, drive performance ensuring all targets are achieved.
• Promote a Continuous Improvement culture via effective implementation of lean tools & techniques.
• Deliver all performance criteria in SQCDP.
• Review current maintenance activities and identify opportunities to improve performance and cost effectiveness.
• Provide leadership coaching to your team to ensure optimal performance and hold them accountable for their performance.
• Create a positive, engaging, and supportive culture, maintaining a safe environment that is inclusive. One that is open, honest, with good communication and empowerment.

Requirements:

• Experience at a similar level in a similar FMCG production environment.
• Experience of working on a COMAH site.
• Must have an excellent understanding of Continuous Improvement/Lean - eg - Problem Solving, 5S, SMED, TPM etc…
• Experience in developing departmental business plans/strategies.
• Proven record in consistently delivering committed budgets and improving YoY SQCDP results.
• Knowledge of SAP.
• Strong leadership skills.
• Strong organisational skills.
