Stock Controller

Full Time

Due to the growth of our client, we are now looking to hire an experienced Stock Controller to join their engineering department in Kettering.

The main purpose of this role is to support the department with all engineering inventory along with other goods across the factory.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To identify and resolve any engineering stock issues
  • To identify critical spares
  • To reduce the cost of materials
  • To manage the engineering materials inventory
  • To work closely with planners/schedulers
  • To review procurement expediting process and inspect materials for compliance to specifications, condition and quality
  • To manage and prepare parts and materials in advance of scheduled work
  • To manage risk to accepted level

Key Requirements:

  • Experience in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience with stock control
  • Basic understanding of mechanical and electrical parts
  • Strong organisational skills
  • High level of attention to detail
  • Strong computer skills
