An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Workshop fitter to come and join a highly successful manufacturing business in Wakefield. My client is a global manufacturing leader in a recession proof market, they provide excellent training, progression and job security as they are growing rapidly. Key Responsibilities:

• Identify damage to mould equipment and repair
• Using spray welding repair techniques and procedures
• Modify mould equipment
• Carry out checks on mould equipment
• Follow specifications
• Perform lathe work
• Carry out milling, drilling and grinding
• Welding
• Filling
• Polishing

Key Requirements:

• Able to use precision measuring equipment and gauges
• Able to read engineering drawings
• Experience using hand tools (air tools, files, de-burrers and taps)
• Fitting experience
