Financial Accountant

Are you an ACA/ACCA-qualified financial expert with a passion for numbers and compliance? Do you thrive in fast-paced environments and love digging into the details? We're looking for a dynamic Financial Accountant to join the team and help drive financial excellence for this global manufacturing business based in Warrington.

In this role, you'll take charge of statutory reporting, manage the audit process, and ensure financial controls are rock-solid. You will ensure the numbers are always on point, while playing a vital role in month-end reporting, budgeting, and forecasting.

Reporting to the Financial Controller, key Responsibilities as Financial Accountant will be to: -

• Lead the preparation and submission of statutory accounts.
• Own the audit process-internal, external, and everything in between.
• Manage the month-end close process and balance sheet controls.
• Prepare and submit UK Corporation tax and Group tax packs.
• Oversee weekly cashflow reporting across multiple currencies.
• Assist in budgeting & forecasting with precision and insight.

The successful Financial Accountant will: -

• Hold an ACA/ACCA qualified with a strong technical accounting & compliance background.

• Be confident with Excel.
• Be a confident communicator who can explain complex financials with ease.
• Be a stickler for accuracy and attention to detail-because numbers matter!
• Experience in US GAAP? Even better!
