To £50K + Overtime 

2 - Shift; Earlies / Lates

 

We have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Maintenance Technician (Electrical bias) to join the engineering team at a successful, print and packaging manufacturing company in Blackpool.

Reporting into the Engineering Director you will join a small team of Maintenance Technicians, ensuring all machines are effectively maintained and optimised to support production.

 

Key Tasks:

• Provide hands on electrical and mechanical maintenance support on a range of printing and packaging equipment

• Electrical fault finding, diagnostics and repair

• PPMs, breakdown maintenance and Route Cause Analysis (RCA)

• Work closely with production to ensure plant meets all KPI's

• Identify improvement opportunities and support development of systems to help move the department forward

• Contribute to Capex projects - equipment installations/automation upgrades

• Ensure all H&S procedures are adhered to

 

Key requirements:

• Time served Electrical/Multi-Skilled Engineer (C&G/NVQ 3/HNC/HND)

• Min of 5 years maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment

• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills

• Knowledge of electrical systems and software; PLC's, Control Systems, HMI

• Improvement mind-set

• Excellent communication skills
