Our client is a leading player in the Engineering Services industry, renowned for delivering innovative solutions with a strong commitment to safety, quality, and sustainability. As part of their continued growth, the Operations Director is seeking a dynamic SHEQ Lead to join the senior leadership team.

You'll be based at Alderley Park - one of the UK's most prestigious science and innovation campuses, offering state-of-the-art offices, beautiful parkland surroundings, and premium on-site facilities including cafes, gyms, and woodland walking trails. It's an inspiring place to work and collaborate.

This is a key role focused on maintaining and enhancing accreditations, developing processes and procedures, and rolling these out across a rapidly expanding UK-wide group of businesses.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain and build upon existing SHEQ accreditations.
• Develop and implement Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for all business activities, many of which are delivered remotely at customer sites.
• Lead the creation of a digital platform for SHEQ compliance across the group.
• Design, implement, and manage SHEQ programmes to ensure compliance with all regulatory standards and industry best practices.
• Conduct risk assessments and develop strategies to mitigate potential hazards.
• Collaborate with project teams to embed SHEQ principles into engineering processes.
• Drive a culture of continuous improvement in safety, health, environment, and quality performance.

About You:

• Proven experience in a SHEQ leadership role within the Engineering Services sector.
• Strong understanding of safety, health, environmental, and quality regulations and standards.
• Ideally qualified in Engineering, Environmental Science, or a related discipline.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder engagement skills.
• A proactive approach with the ability to influence and implement change across diverse teams.
