Head of Business Intelligence
Salary up to £75,000 per annum, 25 days holiday plus bank holidays, Pension and Free Parking
180-year-old Established Manchester based company require a Head of Business Intelligence. This multi-million-pound organisation has rapidly become the leader in their industry.
Based in North Manchester this person will report directly to the Finance Director. With an already established team, you will work with existing analysis undertaken by the company. As Head of Business Intelligence, you will be responsible for ensuring that a common financial interpretation and understanding of the market is available and understood and will provide additional interpretation of data and conduct investigations into anomalies, trends and performance as appropriate and make commercial recommendations based upon market conditions coupled with the implementation of additional analytical controls across related areas.
As Head of Business Intelligence your main responsibilities will be:
Develop a strategy for customer data and data architecture
Develop/Lead CRM strategy
Work closely with sales and marketing to understand their needs and deliver tailored reports and analysis
Drive recommendation for action/strategy using trend analysis
To challenge the norm in terms of what the analytics are reporting
Assess the performance of the business in terms of the impact of marketing and sales efforts - provide analysis, trends and actionable insight
Experienced in working within a similar position
first degree or equivalent qualification
People leadership experience
Must have excellent analytic and problem-solving skills with an intermediate/advanced knowledge of Excel and SQL
Experience of working within FMCG or retail would be advantageous
Highly confident in dealing with ambiguity and scoping business
Data-driven with strong math's skills
Good technical knowledge and understanding of tracking systems and websites
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
