Human Resources Business Partner

£30,000 to 40,000 DOE



We are looking for a hands-on HRBP to fill this newly created role within a rapidly expanding manufacturing company.

This is a great opportunity for someone with HR generalist experience to make a significant difference. You will pave the way for the company's HR agenda through influencing and implementing HR strategy.

Reporting to the CFO your responsibilities will include:

  • Act as single point of contact and trusted business advisor on people-related business issues
  • Identify priorities and develop effective HR processes
  • Provide expert employment law advice and support managers with sensitive and complex people issues ensuring a balance between individual and business needs
  • Proactively manage sickness absence through effective case management
  • Partner with the leadership team to ensure effective succession planning is in place
  • Own the recruitment strategy and lead the recruitment process
  • Coach line managers to develop their teams, build capability and drive accountability
  • Coordinate the performance review process
  • Utilise HR data and dashboards to analyse and report KPIs and help drive better business decisions
  • Own headcount reporting and support the salary budgeting process


  • CIPD qualified or qualified by experience
  • Significant generalist HR business partnering experience, gained in a high growth manufacturing environment
  • Proficient & broad understanding of HR systems and processes
  • Up to date knowledge of UK employment laws and regulations
  • Experience working with senior management and leadership teams
  • Proactive, organised and able to work flexibly in order to meet deadlines and deliver results
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently as well as in a collaborative team environment
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to anticipate needs and solve problems proactively
  • Experience working with a diverse workforce and developing good employee relations
