I am currently looking for a highly skilled Project Supplier Quality Engineer to join a market leading, ever expanding automotive manufacture to be based at their Normanton site.

This position has become available due to an internal promotion leaving this unique and desirable opportunity to rub shoulders with the more advanced engineers the European automotive industry has to offer.

Reporting directly to the Global Supplier Quality Director, you will be involved in all aspects of Quality and Supplies. With progressive development this company is always looking to enhance its employees by ensuring continues training opportunities, whilst additionally being supported by a welcoming team of engineers.

Role Description

· Conduct work and approvals through the New Product Introduction (NPI) process

· Maintain quality standards - ISO9001/ISO14001/TS16949

· Working to Automotive quality standards

· Meeting with current and new suppliers

· Ensure suppliers follow APQP processes to improve the supplied quality delivered into plants

· Ensure that all purchased parts are approved to appropriate PPAP level on time

Skills and Qualifications

· 5+ Years' experience in a similar application based position

· Automotive background/FMCG/Automation

· Knowledge of APQP, PPAP, Root Cause Analysis, 8D

· HNC/HND in a relevant discipline

· Open to travel UK wide/European Travel
