Quality Inspection and Systems Coordinator

An excellent opportunity to join the largest supplier of household Textile products in Europe servicing every major Retailer within the UK.
With an exceptionally focused approach to quality across the business, they are now looking to secure a Quality Inspection and Systems Coordinator to head up responsibilities to product quality and system among other quality responsibilities. This is a rare opportunity to join a market leading business in a Senior capacity, dealing with every major Retailer within the UK. A challenging and flexible role that can be adapted by the successful candidate.
You will take a hands-on approach and be part of a small team that is fully responsible for all the technical & quality aspects of our UK manufacturing operation, ensuring our world-wide supply base meets the high standards expected of us by our customers.
Reporting directly to the Group Technical & Quality Director your Key Responsibilities will be:
- Dealing directly with both Suppliers and Customers on a regular basis.
- Management and maintenance of Retailer technical/quality/specification systems.
- Supplier specification generation / issue / system maintenance.
- Issuing KPI Reports on a Weekly basis.
- Involvement with new product development projects, working closely with the Group NPD Manager
- Due diligence analysis and reporting
- Approval of raw materials and offshore products.
- Sample approval and processing.
Key Requirements
- Good computer skills, a sound knowledge of Word, Excel & Microsoft Outlook
- An analytical mind, problem solving mentality and excellent numeracy skills
- A hands-on approach with the ability to work on your own initiative.
- Ability to interrogate data, challenge current working methods & develop systems to drive improvements.
- A confident manner when dealing with suppliers and customers in person or by telephone.
- A Passport and full, clean driving license with your own Car.
Key Advantages
- Textile qualifications or practical textile/manufacturing experience
- A working knowledge of international Quality, Ethical and Technical standards.
- Experience of working with overseas suppliers.
