Our client, a large international multi-site business, are looking to recruit a Regional Operations Manager to take responsibility for up to five busy production sites across the UK.

Job Description

Role will involve working directly with the Operations Director to accomplish plant objectives in the areas of Safety, Environmental, Quality, Reliability, Production, Efficiency, Cost Reduction and Innovation.

Taking responsibility up to five busy production sites and take them forward to higher levels of performance incorporating health and safety performance, engineering reliability, developing the team ability and driving continuous improvement.

The successful candidate will possess efficient planning and proactive strategy development for optimisation of plant, equipment and reports.

As a key member of the management team you will take on a wide range of responsibilities, being a good technical leader and able to see opportunities for manufacturing and process improvement.

The Person

Key experience and skills required for the successful Regional Operations Manager:

  • Degree qualified in related field.
  • Extensive Production or Manufacturing experience
  • Extensive technical background in a production or manufacturing environment
  • Management of multiple site operations
  • Working within an ISO9001, 14001, 18001 system
  • Overseeing all business functions such as engineering, operations etc. at multiple sites
  • Ability to see opportunities for manufacturing and process improvement
  • Knowledge of H&S within manufacturing.
  • Strong leadership, organisational and communication skills
