Site Maintenance Engineer (Electrical)

DAYS ROLE

To £35K + Paid Overtime + Pension + Healthcare

We currently have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Site Maintenance Engineer to join the team at a food manufacturing company in Lancashire.

Part of a successful global group, our client is the world leader in their market and has companies on five continents producing products in more than 25 countries.

Due to on-going and continuous developments at the Lancashire facility we are now in a position to recruit a new member to the team to assist in ensuring maximum plant availability and driving TPM activities.

Key responsibilities:

  • Reactive and Planned Maintenance on a variety of process, packaging and extrusion machinery
  • Effectively manage Planned Maintenance program via CMMS to ensure maximum plant availability
  • Ensure plant is in good condition and available to meet OEE targets
  • Support and drive TPM activities
  • Identify and implement engineering solutions to improve performance
  • Co-ordinate and participate in site investment projects
  • Manage engineering contractors
  • Manage maintenance budget
  • Mentor an apprentice engineer

The successful candidate for the role of Site Maintenance Engineer will be a time served Electrical Engineer with experience of working in a food/packaging/fmcg environment.

You must have strong PLC knowledge and hold a 17th edition qualification.

Leadership/Supervisory experience is advantageous.
