Multi-Skilled Maintenance Team Leader

Salary: To £52K + Generous Pension (match to 7%), Life Insurance, Private Medical

Shift Pattern: 06.00 - 14.00 / 14.00 - 22.00 M-T, & 5-hour shift on Fri

Our client is an established, forward-thinking manufacturing company who are investing heavily into plant, equipment and people on site in Liverpool. We are now looking for a talented Multi-Skilled Maintenance Team Leader to join the team and contribute to the journey.

In this hands-on leadership role, you will lead a skilled maintenance team of 4 Technicians, ensuring both planned and reactive maintenance is carried out to the highest standard.

You will support the team by attending to mechanical and electrical breakdowns, diagnosing faults and carrying out PLC fault finding to keep production running smoothly. You will also support the Engineering Manager with wider strategic projects.

Requirements:

• Multi-skilled Engineer qualified to HNC level in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
• Proven experience as a Team Leader, Supervisor or Manager in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong skills in both mechanical and electrical fault finding.
• Experience with PLC control systems, hydraulics, pneumatics, and automated machinery.
• Experience of planning maintenance via a CMMS system
• Experience of KPI management and technical leadership
• A proactive, safety-focused approach with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
