We are looking for an Operations Manager to join our Yeovil business and lead from the front and be part of a team shaping the companies' future. (Site T/Over £15 million with ambitious growth plans, Headcount circa 80 employees)

Key Tasks

• Oversee day-to-day operations, ensuring efficiency, quality, and safety across all manufacturing processes.
• Leading capacity planning, production scheduling, and resource allocation to meet demanding aerospace customer requirements.
• Driving continuous improvement, lean manufacturing practices, and operational excellence.
• Managing budgets and delivering P&L accountability for a £15m turnover business.
• Developing, mentoring, and motivating a skilled workforce to achieve business objectives.
• Partnering with senior leadership to deliver strategic growth and operational improvements.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as an Operations Manager or similar leadership role within aerospace or a casting environment.
• Knowledge/experience of investment casting, complex casting, or comparable intricate processes - preferred.
• Strong leadership and team development skills with the ability to inspire at all levels.
• Demonstrable experience in capacity planning, production control, and P&L management.
• A results-driven mindset with a focus on operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.
