About the Role

We are seeking experienced and enthusiastic Assembly Fitter to join our New Build and Service Departments. This role is ideal for individuals with a background in mechanical build & installations, including fit-out, fabrication, welding, and equipment overhaul.

You'll be working on a range of products across commercial and military markets, collaborating with design teams to resolve structural challenges and ensure high-quality workmanship.

Key Responsibilities

• Mechanical maintenance and assembly tasks
• Working on small and large craft
• Operating within new build, repair, and maintenance environments
• Reading and interpreting engineering drawings
• Supporting a culture of cleanliness, quality, and continuous improvement
• Leading and motivating team members when required
• Willingness to work overtime as needed

Required Skills & Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 Mechanical Engineering Qualification or equivalent
• Ability to perform Fabrication & Welding duties on large parts & structures
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Effective communication and time management skills
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team
• Proactive, well-organised, and consistent approach to tasks
