DCS Systems Engineer

Due to continued growth for this specialist food manufacturing business, there is now an excellent opportunity for a DCS Systems Engineer to join the team.

This is a newly created role that will allow an experienced engineer to maximise the potential for the department.

Reporting to the Senior DCS Engineer, typical responsibilities will be to: -

• Manage and improve the Existing Control Systems (Siemens APACS & Fix32/iFix)
• Plan, Scope and Implement new control system projects across the site.
• Have responsibility for the full life cycle delivery of projects, working closely with other departments.
• Drive process improvement.
• Identify items impacting productivity and propose solutions.
• Ensure process KPI's are met.

The successful DCS Systems Engineer will: -

• Hold a HND or above in electronic/electrical engineering (or equivalent)
• Be experienced with PLC Programming.
• Have a knowledge of Visual Basic Programming
• Enjoy working in a fast-paced environment.
• Be looking for long term career prospects.
