Safety, Health, and Environmental (SHE) Advisor

A leading manufacturing organisation in the design and manufacture of equipment for processing industries is currently looking to recruit a SHE Advisor for their site in Todmorden.

After experiencing significant growth, my client is currently seeking a dedicated SHE Advisor to join their team. You will become an integral part of the team, reporting directly to the SHE Manager. You'll be joining a dynamic workforce committed to a culture of safety excellence and have the opportunity to grow and develop your skills whilst working in an exciting, busy and fast paced environment

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide expert support to operational personnel and management.
• Promote best practices and continuous improvement within departments.
• Ensure compliance with safety, health, and environmental legislation.
• Maintain and improve Health and Safety Management Systems in line with ISO 45001:2018.
• Conduct accident and incident investigations, implement corrective actions, and provide guidance as necessary.
• Encourage the development of SHE skills and knowledge within the organization.
• Conduct inspections, audits, and identify areas for improvement.
• Deputize for the Safety, Health & Environment Manager as required.
• Ensure all activities comply with company policy.

Experience, Skills, and Qualifications:

• Experience in Health and Safety within a manufacturing environment.
• Certification or experience with OHSAS 18001, ISO 14001, or ISO 45001.
• NEBOSH Diploma and IEMA Certificate/Membership or equivalent.
• Experience in training delivery for Health and Safety topics.
• Full UK driving license.
