Internal Sales Executive

Salary £25,000 per annum + Bonus + Benefits

Greater Manchester

Due to expansion, an excellent opportunity has arisen for a number of Internal Sales Executive to join a leading company at their brand new offices in Greater Manchester.

You will be responsible for growing sales and margin in an account base of customers, in line with the sales and margin targets set by the company, through proactive outgoing phone calls, promotion of the company's ecommerce platform SmartPad and also by working in collaboration with the Regional Sales Team where an opportunity requires the support of an external sales person.

The Main Responsibilities of the Internal Sales Executive:

    • Retention of existing business through proactive outgoing telephone and email communications
    • To introduce and sell promotions, new products and services (Gap Fill) to those customers
    • To promote and encourage use of the company's Ecommerce system, SmartPad.
    • To overall increase sales and margin in existing customers in line with targets
    • To work with the Regional Sales Division to identify opportunities and threats to existing customers where there would be benefit from external support
    • To competently, deal with objections and close business through the application of first class selling skills
    • To deal with customer orders, queries and complaints efficiently where appropriate cannot be done through SmartPad
    • To maintain a first class standard of service, collaboration and communication with both our internal and external customers

The Main Requirements of Internal Sales Executive:

    • Selling skills are a distinct advantage, however training will be given to the right candidate
    • Telephone Calling / Prospecting and the ability to 'fact find' over the phone
    • High activity KPI based background
    • Delivering targets consistently in a very competitive market place
    • Confident and resilient operating in a highly competitive, dynamic and changing environment
    • Confident telephone manner
    • Ability to identify where required and work with the relevant internal and external business departments
    • Excellent decision making skills
    • Strong negotiation skills with a good commercial awareness
    • Solid communication (verbal and written) and active listening skills with an ability to engage and influence stakeholders both internally and externally
    • Self-motivated but with the ability to operate collectively within the team ethos
    • Excellent computer skills and technology competence
