JUNIOR PRODUCTION PLANNER

To £25,000 per annum

Manchester

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Junior Production Planner to join the team at a manufacturer in Manchester.

If you have excellent Excel and administration skills and are interested in a career in production or planning then this role would be great for you.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES OF JUNIOR PRODUCTION PLANNER:

  • Assisting with the production / order scheduling using in-house ERP system
  • Supporting the Manager with production schedules
  • Liaising with production teams daily to identify any potential issues and raising them with the Manager to ensure that solutions are found to meet our production targets and customer requirements
  • Review production capacity plans and highlight any issues
  • Ensure any delays in production are highlighted early to the sales teams
  • Review reports on production & planning KPI's and make any necessary adjustments
    to keep us in line with KPI's
  • Manage safety stock levels of finished goods produced within your responsible
    production department(s) through MRP demands





MAIN REQUIREMENTS OF JUNIOR PRODUCTION PLANNER:

  • Good knowledge of Microsoft suite, especially Microsoft Excel is preferred
  • Full training will be provided on our in-house ERP system
  • Previous knowledge of ERP systems would be advantageous but not essential
