A new and exciting opportunity for a Maintenance Team Leader/Supervisor/Manager to join a leading chemical manufacturing company based in Cheshire as Site Maintenance Leader.

Job Description:

Are you ready to take on a new challenge? We are currently seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Leader to join our team and lead a multi-disciplined maintenance team of up to 30 Technicians across a vast manufacturing facility.

If you have a background in chemical manufacturing or a similar process industry and a proven track record of leadership and technical expertise, we want to hear from you!

• Lead and manage a multi-disciplined maintenance team to ensure maximum availability of plant and equipment across site
• Monitor and analyse equipment performance, identify opportunities for improvement and work with Asset Engineers to implement corrective actions as necessary
• Lead, motivate and develop the Technicians to meet operational KPI's and drive world class standards
• Provide technical expertise and support to the team as required
• Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies
• Manage budgets and resources effectively
• Develop and maintain strong working relationships with internal stakeholders
• Mentor and develop Technicians, ensure all relevant training is delivered in line with the multi-skilling program

Requirements:

• Apprentice trained Engineer with a minimum of 5 years' experience in a maintenance leadership role (ideally HNC qualified)
• Experience of managing a team in a chemical manufacturing or similar process environment
• Good knowledge electrical and mechanical systems
• Excellent leadership and team management skills
• Sound knowledge of maintenance best practices and techniques
• Experience utilising a CMMS system - SAP advantageous
• Strong communication and influencing skills
• Pro-active mindset and excellent planning skills
• Ability to work effectively under pressure
