This £100m turnover manufacturer of precision engineered solutions is looking for a Project Manager to join their growing business.

The key focus of the role is to manage change and improvement projects across the business for a number of value streams and customers.

Reporting to the Programme Manager, as Project Manager key responsibilities will be to: -

• Lead projects through the project life cycle, typically managing six projects a year for two main customers.
• Build strong relationships with customers and internal stakeholders to ensure the timely delivery of projects.
• Partner with engineering, quality and supply chain to optimise right first time.
• Provide a tight control on costs, staying within budget and driving cost optimisation.
• Project manage the new product pipeline, communicating progress to the business.
• Ensure all contractual obligations are clearly understood and executed.

The successful Candidate will -

• Have project management experience gained within a manufacturing environment.
• Have good commercial awareness and be confident interacting with customers.
• Have the ability to influence manufacturing operations activities.
• Effectively manage change and transition.
• Be able to deliver multiple requirements to demanding timescales.
