Our client is looking to fill a newly created position with exceptional progression and personal investment opportunities. Reporting to the Quality Manager, the Quality Environmental Coordinator will be responsible for ensuring all Quality documentation and Environmental compliance sits in line with ISO14001 as well as customer expectations.

This is a development role where full training and support in gaining any required qualification will be provided by the employer.

As the Quality Environmental Coordinator, you will play an integral part in:

• The investigation and coordination of responses to non-conformances, compile quality data, proactively working with colleagues to improve quality, drive continuous improvement initiatives, develop, and maintain standard work sheets, assist the Quality Manager in maintaining calibration equipment and devices, carry out daily calibration checks, ensure company approvals remain in place (Nadcap etc) and support internal and external audits.
• The coordination of all environmental activities, data gathering, actions and plans to maintain our ISO14001 accreditation and work with the team to implement the initiatives that reduce our carbon footprint.
• You will develop or build on existing knowledge and experience, keeping up to date with best practice and participate in internal and external training. You will also work closely with the quality departments from other business within the group, clients, and suppliers as part of the wider aerospace supply chain.
• As a key member of the quality team, you may be required to work offsite and act up in the absence of the quality providing a range of quality reports or other updates to the senior leadership team as required.

The ideal candidates will possess:

• A passion for Environmental compliance
• The ability/desire to train towards an Environmental qualification (this will be funded by the business)
• Experience working as part of a Quality function, in a manufacturing environment.
